ACD-18 is a highly selective chelating resin based on a cross-linked polystyrene skeleton. Its functional groups are specially designed to efficiently and selectively chelate and adsorb nickel ions (Ni²⁺) in complex solution systems, especially in environments rich in iron (Fe²⁺/Fe³⁺), copper (Cu²⁺), zinc (Zn²⁺), and other common metal ions. This product has solved the key technical problem of nickel-iron separation in fields such as hydrometallurgy, electroplating wastewater treatment, and battery recycling, and can achieve high-purity recovery and enrichment of nickel elements.

Product features

High selectivity: It has extremely high affinity and selectivity for nickel ions (Ni²⁺), especially within the pH range of 3 to 6, it can effectively overcome the competitive interference of iron ions (Fe³⁺), achieving efficient separation of nickel and iron.

High adsorption capacity: It has a relatively high functional group density, and its theoretical saturated adsorption capacity for nickel can reach ≥0.8 mmol/g (wet resin) or more.

Excellent physical and chemical stability: The hard styrene-divinylbenzene skeleton endows the resin with outstanding mechanical strength, wear resistance and acid and alkali resistance, making it suitable for long-term cyclic use.

Excellent kinetic performance: The pore size distribution of resin particles is reasonable, the mass transfer speed is fast, and the adsorption and desorption efficiency is high.

Good regeneration performance: The adsorbed nickel ions can be easily eluted with common inorganic acids (such as sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid) to achieve resin regeneration, and the cycle service life is long.
