DVSORBENT introduces its D001 macroporous strong acid cation exchange resin, designed for efficient water softening, ultrapure water production, heavy metal removal, and chemical wastewater decolorization.
Why D001?
- High total exchange capacity (≥4.35 mmol/g) and volume exchange capacity (≥1.8 mmol/ml)
- Stable polystyrene macroporous structure with –SO₃⁻ functional groups
- Available in Na⁺ or H⁺ form
- Wide particle size (0.315–1.25 mm) and high sphericity after abrasion (≥90%)
- Simple regeneration with 4% HCl/H₂SO₄, easy conversion to Na⁺ form with NaOH
User-friendly operation:
- Flow rate: 1–10 BV/h
- Regeneration: 2 BV acid at 1.5 BV/h, followed by 3–5 BV water rinse
- Storage adaptable to 5–40°C; resin must remain hydrated
