Environment protection refers to the protection of green mountains, clear water, blue sky and sea in order to prevent the deterioration of the natural environment. It calls on human beings not to mine without authorization, cut trees, discharge sewage and waste gas indiscriminately, overgrazing, over-exploiting natural resources, or destroying the ecological balance of nature.
Environmental pollution mainly includes waste gas, liquid waste and solid waste. Millions of compounds from industry are found in air, soil, water, plants, animals and the human body. Even the ice sheets, the last large natural ecosystems on Earth, are being polluted. Those organic compounds, heavy metals, toxic products, are concentrated in the whole food chain, and ultimately will threaten the health of animals and plants. It causes cancer and leads to the weakoning of soil fertility. If not dealt with in time and effectively, it will cause pollution to rivers, atmosphere and soil.
Macroporous adsorption resin and ion exchange resin have contributed their own strength in environmental protection. At present, many industrial wastewater contains toxic ions or non-ionic substances, which can be recovered and treated by resins. The macroporous adsorption resin can remove sulfur dioxide, formaldehyde and other harmful substances in the VOCs treatment. It can also remove metal ions in electroplating waste liquid, such as copper, nickel, mercury, chromium, lead, zinc and other heavy metals. Chelating resin can recover gold, silver, platinum and other precious metals from waste liquid. Ion exchange resins and macroporous adsorptin resins can also remove organic pollutants such as phenol, aromatic group, aliphatic group, and inorganic pollutants such as nitrate, inorganic phosphorus, borate, sulfate, ammonia nitrogen in wastewater.
Ion exchange resins and adsorbent resins are widely used because they can not only treat waste water and gas, protect the environment, but also realize the reuse of resources, which is of great significance to the entire environmental protection industry.
