PRODUCT INFORMATION
Sphelite ACD-100 is an amino carboxylic acid chelating resin built on a polystyrene-divinylbenzene matrix. Its CH2N(CH2COOH)2 functional groups carry nitrogen and oxygen lone-pair electrons, forming strong complexes with metal cations such as Cu2+, Pb2+, Fe2+, Cd2+, Ni2+ and Zn2+.
Compared with traditional cation exchange resins, ACD-100 delivers high adsorption capacity and a faster exchange rate, capturing more metal ions per unit volume and reducing resin volume and operating costs in water treatment and metal recovery.
