PRODUCT INFORMATION
ACD-100 is a high-selectivity amino carboxylic acid chelating resin designed for heavy metal adsorption from mining wastewater and acid mine drainage. The resin binds Cu2+, Pb2+ and Fe2+ through chelating complexation, achieving lower residual metal concentrations than conventional precipitation processes.
Sphelite ACD-100 is a polystyrene divinyl benzene polymer chelating resin with CH2N(CH2COOH)2 functional groups. These groups contain N and O lone pair electrons and can form stable complexes with cations such as Cu2+, Pb2+, Fe2+, Cd2+, Ni2+ and Zn2+.
Compared with traditional cation exchange resins, ACD-100 shows higher exchange capacity and faster exchange rate. It has become a mature and widely applied solution in industrial separation processes.
