Product Description
ASD-002 is a macroporous strong basic anion exchange resin with quaternary ammonium functional groups (-N+(CH3CH2)3) and 99.8% purity. Its large pore network and high mechanical strength make it an ideal media for removing nitrite from recirculating water in aquaculture operations, where water quality directly determines fish survival and growth performance.
Nitrite accumulation is one of the most common water quality failures in recirculating aquaculture systems, hatcheries and intensive ponds. ASD-002 selectively exchanges nitrite ions even in water containing chloride, sulfate and bicarbonate, protecting fish and shrimp from nitrite toxicity without the use of chemical additives. Routine sodium chloride regeneration restores capacity quickly, allowing stable, long-term water reuse at lower operating cost.
- Selective nitrite removal in saline and mixed-ion culture water
- 99.8% purity macroporous beads with high attrition resistance
- Rapid regeneration with sodium chloride brine
- Stable performance across wide pH and temperature ranges
- Reduces water exchange demand and supports water reuse
- ISO9001:2015 certified manufacturing process
