Product Description
ASD-002 is a large pore strong basic anion exchange resin engineered for polishing applications where treated effluent must meet strict nitrate and nitrite discharge criteria. With a macroporous structure, 99.8% purity and total exchange capacity of at least 2.6 mmol/g, the resin delivers stable anion removal performance in demanding wastewater environments.
Secondary and tertiary effluent often contains residual organic matter that rapidly fouls conventional gel resins. The large pore network of ASD-002 provides outstanding resistance to organic fouling, maintaining exchange capacity through hundreds of cycles. Nitrate and nitrite are selectively removed in the presence of sulfate, chloride and bicarbonate, and the exhausted resin is economically regenerated with sodium chloride brine, minimizing chemical consumption and waste generation.
- Macroporous structure with strong resistance to organic fouling
- Selective nitrate and nitrite removal from complex effluent
- 99.8% purity ensuring stable exchange kinetics
- Regenerable with low-cost sodium chloride brine
- High mechanical strength for long-term column service
- ISO9001:2015 certified quality management
